"Dream a Little Dream"

The British film "Beautiful Thing" is basically the story of two boys falling in love, and the impact this has on their lives, and the lives of the people living with them in a dreary south London housing complex. The movie is very uplifting, and alot of fun. Anyone who loves the English Accent will enjoy this movie, but in case you are having trouble following the dialogue, go HERE for an on-line Slang dictionary that will set you straight!
| Now, obviously this movie is not for everyone. The subject matter can be offensive to some, even though it is handled very sensitively. Also the language is rather strong, in keeping with the realistic style of the film. If you have an open mind, and don't generally live in isolation, you should have no real problems with this very excellent film. |
